"Bought a new vehicle out of state. Called when I got to the dealership to switch my information over to the new vehicle. "I have had the absolute best relationship with State Farm Insurance. I have renters, auto and life insurance with them for many years. "Switched to progressive in January because it's half the price for the same coverage. State farm is still charging me $300+/month though I emailed, called and progressive sent a letter to cancel my account. Everyone said it will be taken care of. It wasn't and I paid 2 months even though the site shows no policy. Buyer beware"

These requirements are in place to protect our customers as well as State Farm; while making sure we are giving the best customer service possible. Unfortunately, as we discussed, our hands are tied as to the requirement of signing the cancellation form or providing proof from your other company. We hope to resolve this as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience."
